Church Planting Around the World

Church planting is critical to the discipleship and fellowship of believers—in Virginia, the US, and around the world. Generous donations to the Alma Hunt Offering help fund BGAV church planting efforts in many areas, and specific prayers undergird this important ministry.

Pray for the health and safety of Emanuel Mustapha and his church planting team in Northeastern Ghana and surrounding countries. Almost 500 churches have been planted since the More Than Nets initiative began in 2014. Now the goal is to have planted 2,000 churches by 2029. Pray for unity among the team and openness for the gospel in the towns and villages they visit.

Pray especially for our church planters in Lebanon, Poland, and Macedonia. All of them have been affected by the wars in Syria and in the Ukraine, and their ministries involve support for the many refugees who have been forced to flee from their homes. Pray that more BGAV churches would sponsor a church planter in Eastern Europe or in the Middle East.
